Building Better Hospitals for the Future - Next Steps

Building Better Hospitals for the Future - Next Steps

In June 2021, the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Leicester, Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) gave the go-ahead to a £450 million transformation plan to improve Leicester's hospitals.

You are invited to attend a virtual public meeting on Thursday 1 July at 6.00pm – 7.30pm to hear more about the decisions made, based on public feedback from a twelve-week consultation. You will also be able to learn more about how these exciting plans will become a reality enabling Leicester's hospitals to deliver high quality, sustainable care from modern, state-of-the-art facilities.

We will also outline how we will implement the shared commitment, made when these plans were approved, to ongoing public and patient involvement. The event will include a question and answer session so that people are able to ask questions about the next steps in the significant project.

The event will be led by Andy Williams, Chief Executive Officer and Sarah Prema, Executive Director of Strategy and Planning from the LLR CCGs. Andy and Sarah will be joined by John Jameson, Deputy Medical Director and other colleagues from Leicester's Hospitals
